Vehicle details
This entry distinguishes the E36 body and its principal powertrain and performance models. Model specifications describe the versions recorded in BMW's historical archive; figures without a specified market or revision do not apply to every model year.
The final global end year has not been established where the end year is blank. A blank end year does not establish that production continues.
