Vehicle details
This Nova coupe offered a sporty appearance and everyday practicality within Chevrolet’s compact range. First sold as a 1968 model, its body was longer and wider than the previous Nova, with a long hood and short trunk. It retained a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, while front and rear bench seats allowed six occupants in the standard version. The later 1974-model base 250-cubic-inch inline-six used a single-barrel carburetor and three-speed manual. Available V8s and sports packages served buyers seeking stronger performance within the same body range.
