288 GTO is a two-seat supercar with a longitudinally mounted twin-turbocharged V8 behind the cockpit. Its 2,855.08 cc engine delivers 400 CV and 496 Nm, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox with a twin-plate clutch. Wide wheelarches, vertical outlets in the rear body and four circular tail lamps define the design. The low body packages the engine and cooling system around a 2,450 mm wheelbase. It measures 4,290 mm long, 1,910 mm wide and 1,120 mm high.
