Vehicle details
The 458 Italia is a two-seat rear-wheel-drive coupe with a longitudinal engine behind the cabin. Its 4,499 cc naturally aspirated V8 produces 570 CV at 9,000 rpm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. An aluminium body and chassis work with an electronic differential and traction control, while major driving controls are grouped around the steering wheel. It measures 4,527 mm long, 1,937 mm wide and 1,213 mm high on a 2,650 mm wheelbase. Launched in 2009, it was later succeeded by the 488 GTB.
