Vehicle details
Introduced in 2004, the Freestyle is a three-row crossover combining passenger-car comfort with SUV-like interior versatility. Its elevated driving position and theater-style seating place successive rows higher, while the standard six-passenger layout has individual second-row seats. An optional second-row bench increases capacity to seven. A third row that folds into the floor and a folding front passenger seat help accommodate long loads. The 2007 SEL pairs a 24-valve DOHC 3.0-liter Duratec 30 V6 with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. Available all-wheel drive distributes power when wheel slip is detected. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and power rack-and-pinion steering support everyday journeys with passengers and luggage.
