Vehicle details
The Model T brought motoring to a wider public through simple construction and lower-cost mass production. Introduced in 1908, it remained in production until 1927, with more than 15 million built. The Touring was a principal open passenger-body style, with details evolving throughout the production run. A water-cooled side-valve inline-four worked with a planetary transmission. Later cars gained changes in tyres, exterior trim and colour choices while retaining the basic mechanical layout.
