Vehicle details
This Mondeo is a midsize car with a broad, low front and a long roofline. Its five-door body hides a large rear hatch behind a sedan-like profile, opening with the rear glass to make passenger and luggage space more flexible. MacPherson-strut front suspension and integral-link independent rear suspension are combined with electrically assisted steering. The 1.5-litre EcoBoost is a direct-injection turbocharged inline-four petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The wider range also included four-door, wagon and hybrid versions, serving family transport and long-distance travel.
