Vehicle details
Introduced in 1998, this Windstar is a front-wheel-drive minivan built around versatile family passenger transport. Sliding doors on both sides provide access to three seating rows for seven occupants. The base 2003 model has individual front seats, a two-passenger second-row bench and a three-passenger rear bench. Its split-port-induction 3.8-liter OHV V6 is paired with an electronically controlled four-speed automatic transaxle. A unitized body uses MacPherson strut front suspension and a rear torsion beam, with ABS, front disc brakes and rear drums. Folding seatbacks, a large cargo area, power windows and air conditioning support everyday family journeys and travel.
