Introduced in 1991, the Galloper was part of Hyundai’s early SUV range. Its long body combined a high roof, upright styling and a cabin extending toward the rear to emphasize passenger and cargo utility. A representative naturally aspirated 2.5-liter diesel used a 2,476cc inline-four. Rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, with manual or automatic transmissions, gave it the character of a traditional SUV for roads and varied conditions.
