The CM Santa Fe arrived in 2005 as Hyundai’s midsize SUV. A longer, wider body and a 2,700mm wheelbase expanded passenger and luggage space compared with the original Santa Fe. Its passenger-oriented monocoque layout developed into a larger family vehicle for everyday and long-distance use. The Korean 2.0-liter diesel configuration paired a 1,991cc inline-four with a five-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. A rear hatch provided access to the cabin’s cargo area.
