Introduced in 2012, the DM Santa Fe is Hyundai’s midsize family SUV. Strong body-side lines and a swept window profile gave it a more dynamic appearance than its predecessor. A monocoque body and rear hatch supported passenger accommodation and accessible luggage space. The Korean 2.2-liter diesel model used a 2,199cc inline-four and a six-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations for different road conditions.
