Introduced in 2007, the TQ Starex is Hyundai’s multipurpose van, known as Grand Starex in Korea. A high roof and long body provided accommodation for passengers or cargo. Its front-mounted engine drives the rear wheels, while side sliding doors assist access and loading. A representative 2.5-liter diesel configuration uses a 2,497cc inline-four with manual or automatic transmission. The model serves passenger and transport needs requiring more interior room than a conventional car.
