The TL Tucson arrived in 2015 as Hyundai’s compact SUV. A larger body and longer wheelbase than its predecessor increased its passenger and luggage utility, with a rear hatch giving access to the cargo area. The early Korean 2.0-liter diesel model paired a 1,995cc inline-four with a six-speed automatic transmission. This front-wheel-drive specification produced 186 PS and substantial torque between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm for everyday and longer-distance use.
