Kia’s 2006 launch release explicitly describes a raised roof installed by cutting the roof of the Grand Carnival. It is physically distinct from the standard-roof LWB, rather than a seating-only duplicate. The launch establishes a diesel model, but its individual displacement, output, transmission and later high-roof powertrain applications remain unverified. The sketch references Kia’s 2006 release image with decorative graphics removed. Representative powertrains retain market and reference-period distinctions; they do not cover every market or trim. The final worldwide production and sales end remains unverified. A blank end year does not imply continued production.
