The Carrera GT is a two-seat sports car with a carbon-fibre-reinforced-plastic monocoque and a mid-mounted V10. Its roof consists of two removable panels, and luggage space is provided at the front. The naturally aspirated 5,733 cc engine produces 450 kW and 590 Nm, driving the rear wheels through a ceramic composite clutch and six-speed manual gearbox. Pushrod suspension, ceramic brakes and centre-lock magnesium wheels complement its lightweight structure. Porsche’s technical sheet gives a length of 4,613 mm, width of 1,921 mm and height of 1,166 mm, with a 2,730 mm wheelbase.
