P6 Prismatic Battery
P6 is Samsung SDI’s sixth-generation prismatic automotive battery. It combines a cathode containing more than 91 percent nickel with an SCN silicon-carbon nanocomposite anode. Energy density is over ten percent higher than P5. P6 was shown at Auto Shanghai 2023 and described as a mass-produced product in 2024.
