Turbocharged four-cylinder layout
The Smartstream G2.5 T-GDI is a 2,497 cc four-cylinder gasoline engine with turbocharging and direct injection. A turbocharger uses exhaust energy to compress intake air, while direct injection controls the delivery of fuel into the cylinders.
The Sonata N Line is one application of this family. Output, cooling equipment and calibration depend on the vehicle and model year; the family name does not imply identical specifications in every installation.
