Fast combustion and thermal efficiency
The Dynamic Force design combines a long stroke, fast combustion, D-4S injection and variable controls to reduce cooling, friction and exhaust losses. The original 2.5-litre conventional and hybrid versions achieved peak thermal efficiencies of 40% and 41%, with compression ratios of 13:1 and 14:1.
