An integrated electric drive system
Hyundai Mobis announced this 160 kW PE system in 2026. It integrates the motor with power-conversion and reduction functions, rather than representing a standalone motor.
The motor produces rotation, power electronics control its electrical supply, and reduction gearing adapts speed and torque for the wheels. The 160 kW rating describes power, not the battery’s energy capacity in kWh.
